Tiger Commercial Equipment – Limited 1-Year Warranty
1. Scope of Warranty
This Limited Warranty applies to all new commercial equipment sold and operated in Canada by Tiger Commercial Equipment Inc. (“TCE”), including but not limited to:
-
Pallet jacks
-
Forklifts
-
Scrubbers
-
Sweepers
-
Stackers
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
2. Warranty Coverage
Basic “Bumper-to-Bumper” Warranty – 12 Months
TCE warrants that all engineered components of the equipment (excluding wear items listed in Section 3) are free from defects in materials and workmanship for twelve (12) months from the date of delivery, regardless of hours used or mileage.
Major Component Warranty – Inherent Defect Coverage
Covers inherent (i.e. non-accidental, non-operational) manufacturing or design defects in critical assemblies, including:

Engines
-
Transmissions
-
Drive motors
-
Hydraulic pumps
-
Electronic controllers
3. Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty does not cover any failure, damage, or malfunction not caused by an inherent defect. Excluded causes include, but are not limited to:

Misuse, abuse, negligence, or overloading
-
Accidents, impacts, or collisions
-
Use of non-OEM parts or unauthorized repairs/modifications
-
Improper maintenance, insufficient servicing, or environmental exposure
-
Storage-related deterioration (e.g. corrosion, fluid breakdown)
-
Failure to follow manufacturer charging procedures or guidelines
Important Battery Limitation:
Batteries must be properly maintained and charged according to manufacturer instructions.

Battery damage caused by improper charging, leaving batteries fully discharged, or failure to maintain fluid levels (if applicable) is not covered under this warranty.
Routine wear items are not covered, including but not limited to:

Tires
-
Brake pads and shoes
-
Filters, hoses, seals
-
Batteries (except inherent manufacturing defects)
Also excluded are:
-
Cosmetic wear (scratches, scuffs, dents, fading)

Consequential or incidental damages, such as:
-
Loss of use
-
Downtime or lost productivity
-
Rental or replacement costs
-
Lost profits
4. Claim Procedure
To initiate a warranty claim, contact TCE Service within the warranty period:

Include:

Equipment serial number

Date of delivery

A detailed description of the issue, including photos or video if possible
TCE will evaluate the claim and determine whether it qualifies as a warranty-covered defect. All repairs must be performed by TCE or an authorized TCE service technician.
5. Remedies
If a valid warranty claim is approved, TCE will, at its sole discretion:

Repair or replace the defective part or assembly at no cost to the original purchaser.

Cover labor for on-site repairs within the GTA; travel charges may apply for remote service locations.
This is the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty.

Except as expressly stated in this document, TCE disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

Merchantability

Fitness for a particular purpose

Non-infringement
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have additional rights under the Consumer Protection Act or other provincial laws in Ontario or elsewhere in Canada.
